Who We Are
Sketty Hall Lodge No. 8752 meets under the banner of the Province of South Wales, one of the most vibrant and active provinces in the United Grand Lodge of England.
We are a friendly and welcoming lodge, proud of our close-knit community and our commitment to the principles that have guided Freemasonry for centuries: brotherly love, relief, and truth. Our members come from all walks of life, united by a shared dedication to personal development and charitable work.
We meet at the Swansea Masonic Hall on St Helen's Road — an elegant Victorian building that has hosted lodges and degrees since 1926 — and warmly welcome visiting brethren from across the Province and beyond.

Our Heritage
Sketty Hall Lodge No. 8752 was warranted on 8th December 1976 and consecrated on 4th March 1977, bringing together a founding group of brethren committed to Freemasonry in the Sketty area of Swansea. The lodge meets at the Swansea Masonic Hall on St Helen's Road — a grand Victorian building that has welcomed Masonic lodges since its opening in 1926.
Through the 1980s the lodge grew steadily, welcoming men from across Swansea and the wider Province of South Wales. Strong bonds were formed that would define the lodge's character for generations.
Entering the new millennium, the lodge continued its proud tradition while embracing new brethren and adapting to a changing world. Charitable giving remained at the heart of lodge life.
On 4th March 2027 we mark a remarkable milestone — fifty years since the lodge's consecration. We celebrate the brethren who built this lodge, those who sustain it today, and those who will carry it forward into the next fifty years.

Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest and most respected fraternal organisations. It brings together men of good character who, guided by the principles of integrity, friendship, respect and service, strive to make a positive difference in their lives and communities.
It is not a religion, not a secret society, and not a political organisation. It is a fraternity that welcomes men from all backgrounds, faiths and professions.
Contact our Secretary to express your interest. We'll answer any questions and invite you to meet some of our members informally.
